LAWN TENNIS.
YANKEE TOURNAMENT. The Feilding! Lawn Tennis Chib held a mixed nandicap Yankee tournament on Saturday at its courts in South Street. The weather was ideal and the grass courts were in splendid playing condition. The winners were:—A section, . J. L. Webster and Miss L. Rutherford; B section, Mr and Mrs V. Lawrence; C section, W. Brown and Mrs A. Waldin; II section, K. Kilgour and Miss N. Rutherford; E section, K. Miers and Miss F. Price. Semifinals: Webster beat Miers 6—2, and Lawrence, 6—5; Brown beat Kilgour, G—4. Final; Webster beat Brown, 7—5.
