(From Our Own Correspondent.) LONGBURN, Jan. 21.
The annual picnic of the Women’s Institute was held at the Esplanade, when a very enjoyable time was spent by members, their families and friends. Mrs Bolton, of New Plymouth, has been visiting her sister, Mrs J. Holland. Mr and Mrs CMC. Hills have, returned home from a holiday spent in the South Island. Miss Joan Lockwood, of Napier is slaying with Mrs J. Callesen, “Valhalla. |rs Gray, of Whakatane, was a recent visitor to Mrs Murray, of Awapuni. Mrs E. Enni9, of Auckland, has been visiting relatives and friends in Karere.
