(From Our Own Correspondent.) FOXTON, Jan. 21,

Mrs H. 11. Hornblow, of Hamilton, is on a visit to her parents, Mr and Mrs W. E. Barber, of Motuiti. Mrs O. Austin, of Pukekolie, who has been spending a, holiday in Otaki, is the guest of Mrs J. K. Hornblow, of Thynno Street. The friends of Mr Jack Macdonald, who was severely injured in a motor car accident on the Foxton-Palrnerston North highway late on Sunday night last, when he stop, ped to render assistance to a fellow motorist who was held up, will regret to learn that ho had to undergo _ another operation this afternoon. The picnic organised by the members of the Foxton Women’s Instiute was held at the local seaside and was well attended by institute members and their children.
