CITY COUNCIL PICNIC.

The citizens of Palmerston North are reminded that the annual picnic of the City Council employees is to he held on Friday, January 28) at Pnekakariki. All preparations arc well in hand, and jf only fine weather prevails a most enjoyable time and a record attendance are anticipated. Thu sports programme is a large one, events being included for visitors as well os employees and their wives. The children are to bo catered for in the usual libral manner and on the return journey sweets and balloons will be distributed to them. A raffle for the ladies will be conducted and drawn before the journeys end. The committee invites as many oi the citizens as can possibly get away to accompany them on thi9 occasion.
