When Cabinet meets on Wednesday, Ministers will be in a position to review the Parliamentary programme for the remainder of the session.

The Government is known to Rave at least three measures of major importance to be introduced after the House of Commons reassembles.cn February 1.

One is Sir Samuel Hoare’s penal reform proposals, aiming a.t keeping the young out of prison and providing a better system for .the protection of the persistent offender against himself and protecting society from hardened criminals.
