MINISTER IN SYDNEY.

TO DISCUSS PENSIONS SCHEME. SYDNEY, Jan. 21. Hon. W. E. Parry (Minister ,of Internal Affairs in New Zealand) arrived at Sydney this morning by the Awatea after a pleasant voyage. He was met by Government representatives. Mr Parry expects to remain in Australia about six weeks, during which time he will investigate a number of matters, the chief of which is the reciprocal pensions scheme between New Zealand and Australia.

In a shipboard interview, Mr Parry referred to a number of Dominion matters, including defence, air transport, farming, irrigation and the progress the Dominion has made under the Labour Government. Mr Parry has received a tremendous number of invitations to various functions. It will he a physical impossibility to attend them all.
