CAGOULARDS’ CRIMES

DISCOVERIES BY POLICE. PARIS, Jan. 11. Evidence that Italy had supported the Cagoulards was obtained from one of the three alleged “hooded men,” who have just been arrested. The three men, Eilliol, Jacubiez and Puireux, have been charged with the murder of the anti-Faseist Italian brothers, Professor Carlo and Sabatini Resclli.

The Rosellis were stabbed to death in a car in the south of France on Juno 11. “The motives for the Roselli crime are most gave, and cannot bo revealed at present,” stated a Suretc chief.

The murder of the Russian financier, Navachine, in the Bois do Doulogne a year ago, and the disappearances of the Russians, Generals Koutiepoff and Miller, from Paris, have been definitely linked with the Cagoulards, the Surcte adds.

The police were -put on to the track of the Roselli murderers through the boasting of Private Bouvier, of the 3rd Regiment of Chasseurs, now serving in North Africa. Bouvier said the Cagoulards had ordered him to shadow the Roselli brothers.

Another car containing four Cagoulards immediately Billowed the Roseillis’ car. Bouvier followed in the next car. When he heard loud screams and knockings from the cars ahead he assumed that the Rosellis had been murdered.
