OBITUARY.
MRS ELLEN ADSETT, There passed away at the Palmerston North Hospital yesterday Mrs Ellen Adsett, relict of the late Mr George Adsett, of Warwick Street. Feilding. Mrs Adsett, who was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs John Pawson, was born in Akaroa 71 years ago and came to Feilding over 40 years ago. Her father was well-known in the Feilding and Ashhurst districts,_ where he was engaged in the sawmilling industry. Mrs Adsett was married in 1886, and for many years Mr Adsett conducted a mill at Pohangina which was widely known as “Adsett’s mill.” Mr Adsett died in Auckland seven years ago. Mrs Adsett possessed a bright and happy nature and was well liked and highly respected. She leaves to mourn her passing one son, George (of Feilding). Her onlv daughter, Mrs A. Ward, predeceased her seven months ago. Mrs W. H. Hart, Foxton, and Mrs V. A. Martin, Tangimoana, are sisters, while her brothers are Messrs Edward (Otahuhu), William (Dannevirke) and Frederick Pa.wson (Feilding)-
