BOWLING TOURNEY.

OAKEY AND TYRELL IN PAIRS FINAL. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Jan. 22. After light rain during the night, the Caledonian green was a little heavy for the continuation of the pairs in the Dominion championship bowling tourney this morning. Three games were decided as follows: Munn (Canterbury) beat Walker (Otago), 19—16; Tyrell (Roslyn) beat Wilson (Linwood), 19—18. The third game between Tyrell and Munn provided a very exciting finish, Tyrell winning 17—16 on the lust head. The final, which is taking place this afternon, is between Oakey (Elmwood) and Tyrell.
