UNEMPLOYMENT LOWER.
AUSTRALIAN STATISTICS. Received Januarv 21, 11.20 a.m. CANBERRA, Jan. 21. Figures issued by the Commonwealth Statistician show that employment in Australia is back to the pre-depression levels. At the end of last year only 8 2 per cent, of the trade union members were out of employment, the lowest figure since August, 1927, when 6.7 were out of work.
