NAPIER STRIKE

NO CHANGE IN POSITION. Per Press Association. NAPIER, Jan. 20. The Napier wool store workers’ strike was continued to-day, with no fresh developments. The representative of the men denied that he was awaiting advice from Wellington. The coastal vessel -Pukeko is due to load 750 dumps of bales for Auckland to-morrow. The cargo is lying in the stores at Port Ahuriri and it is improbale that the shipment will go forward. The Awahou arrives on Monday with 800 hales of wool from Hick’s Bay and Tokcmaru Bay.
