Mrs Caldow was the first to get a start and made two points, after which Mrs Gambrill shot in and set out a perfect break, but broke at No. 3 with Mrs Caldow’s ball. Mr Bryan then carried his clip to first return, and in-and-out play followed for some time. The clips were fairly even throughout, the players being well matched. At the conclusion of the game D. Bryan then executed a good shot by . putting his partner on the peg and pass rolling to his opponent’s balls, and pegging out in the same turn. A. J. Gibbs and Miss Washer v, F. C. Bryan and Mrs Bryan.—Mrs Bryan was the first to get away and, collecting tho balls, made the round in two turns. In-and-out play was a feature, until Gibbs made a round hitting in and put Mrs Bryan’s ball on the peg, her partner haying two hoops to make.
