A RECIPE.

SNOW EGGS. Beat the whites of four eggs to a stiff froth, and in the meantime heat a pint of milk, sweetened and flavoured with vanilla. As soon as it boils drops the beaten egg into it by tablespoonfuls, and ns soon as they set dip out carefully and arrange in a shallow glass dish. Let the milk in the saucepan cool a little, then stir in the beateu yolks of the eggs very gradually. When thick and custardy pour round the. snowed eggs and serve cold. An excellent dressing for leathercovered furniture is made by adding forty drops of turpentine to half a pint of milk. Any dust that has accumulated must be removed before application. Polish with clean, soft dusters.
