BEACH PICNIC.
During the week-end a picnic was held at Foxton Beach in glorious sunshine with perfect swimming and racing conditions. During the afternoon the Foxton Surf Club gave a life-sav-ing demonstration and beach drill. Other attractions were staged for the party by the Maori Troupe; and Highland dances.
