SHIP BUILDING ON CLYDE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Jan. 19. The launching of a 6800-ton cargo vessel to-day from the yards of Barclay. Curie and Whiteinch marks the beginning of what is likely to he an excellent year for Clyde shipbuilders. Liners listed for launching include the Queen Mary’s sister-ship of 83,000 tons, the Canton of 15,000 tons, as well as several other passenger ships and a large number of naval vessels, tankers and cargo boats.
