WAGGON CONTENTS IGNITED. WHANGAREI, Jan. 19. An outbreak of fire in the ~nteafa of an open waggon was discovered when a mixed tram from the noith arrived at the Whangarei railway station just prior to the arriva express from Auckland Railway j ; quicklv suppressed the flames enrnlj «es anillyi»S •» ‘'".-S-nS 1 - an empty sack was set alight p ahlv by a spark from the. engine As the fire burned for only a few minutes, damage was confined to the scorching of the floor of the waggon.
