CROPS DOING WELL.
IN POHANGINA VALLEY
Root crops are reported to be doing well in the Pohangina Valley, and heavy yields of mangolds a.re expected. Though the weather has been dry, and creeks are running low, the rainfall a little over a week ago replenished tanks. No. difficulty is being experienced in carrying stock as there is still adequate feed available, though not a super-a.bundance.
