VESSEL IN CYCLONE.
STEERING GEAR DAMAGED.
BRISBANE, Jan. 19.
Encountering cyclonic weather off the Queensland const, the steamer Montoro damaged her steering gear and sent an SOS. However, a later report stated that the damage had been repaired and the Montoro was proceeding northward.
