DEFENCE AND TRADE.
DISCUSSION YESTERDAY. (British Official Wireless.) Received January 19, 10 53 a.m. RUGBY, Jan. 18. As was expected tho partition issue was not raised again, the position of the two sides having been made for a further examination of the questions of the defence force and trade. It is obvious that, if there is a possibility of a comprehensive trade agreement between Britain and .Eire, an immense amount of preparation will be required. To-day’s talks were of a most friendly nature.
