FREIGHTER IN DISTRESS.
AID FROM LINER. NEW YORK, Jan. 17. The liner Europe has advised by wireless that she is proceeding to the aid of the British freighter Cragpool. which- is in distress in the Atlantic in latitude 46 degrees north and longitude 34.40 degrees west. Water is leaking into the engine-room. The vessel is in no immediate danger of sinking.
