STRATEGIC SITES

AERODROME FACTORIES. GERMAN ACTIVITY. CONCERN IN DENMARK. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received January 19, 11.20 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 18. The Daily Telegraph’s diplomatic correspondent understands that a discussion has been aroused at Copenhagen by Germany’s recent indisposition of her military aerodromes and aircraft factories along the Baltic coastline. The sites have been chosen for their strategic value, being the remotest points from those of the countries from which air attacks might be expected. Pears are being expressed lest Germany in wartime mignt seize areas in Denmark suitable as air bases on the ground of forestalling any other country which might wish to use Danish territory as a jumping off place to attack Germany. Danish opinion is divided as to whether precautionary military measures should be taken.
