INQUEST VERDICT.

BOY CYCLIST’S DEATH. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Jan. 19. A verdict of accidental death was returned by the Coroner (Mr Gilbertson) at the inquest on John Charles French, aged 12. His death occurred following a crash over a bank when the chain apparently came off the bicycle he was riding. The Coroner said there was no evidence that the bicycle, which belonged to deceased’s employer, was defective. A verdict of accidental death was also returned in the case of William Thomas Wright, aged 55, following his being struck by a conveyor, chute at Woburn.
