A belated despatch from Tsingtno discloses that Japanese marines, about to occupy the signal station, drove out two British signallers and one American signaller belonging to the cruisers Dorsetshire and Marblehead at the bayonet point. • A strong protest lias evoked the routine apology from ex-Vice-Admirnl Tovoda. The incident is regarded as closed.
