KICKED BY HORSE.

INFANT INJURED. Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, Jan. 18. As the result of severe head injuries received when he was kicked by a draught horse on liis parents farm at Lower AVairau, Peter Jones, aged 18 months, the son of Mr and Mrs Hollis Jones, was admitted to hospital, where an operation was immediately performed. The child’s condition was still serious this afternoon. He is suffering from a compound practurp of the skull. Straying from the homestead, the child climbed through the fence into the horse paddock where the accident happened.
