EXTREME HEAT.
EXPERIENCE AT GORE. Per Press Association. GORE, Jan. 18. With the shade temperatures reaching 90 degrees, Gore is experiencing the hottest period for three years. There have been nine successive warm days, with the past week excessively hot. For tho past five days the wannest part has not been loss than 85 degrees. . There was a scorching sun lrom an almost cloudless sky again to-day.' Heavy rain is needed to stimulate the growth of burnt pastures and replenish tanks.
