NAVAL OFFICIAL RETIRES.
Received January 18, 1 p.m.. LONDON, Jan, 17. Vice-Admiral Geoffrey Blake, formerly in command of the New Zealand Division of the lloyal Navy, has retired from the Navy at his own request owing to ill-health.
