FIRST FOR ABYSSINIA. Received January 18, 12 noon. BRINDISI. Jan. 17. A hundred and five South Italian peasants, chosen as the first settlers in Abyssinia, sailed to-day. Each is the head of a large family for which he goes to prepare a homestead.
