KOWHAI CRICKET CLUB.

MATCH WITH NAPIER. Arrangements have been completed, for a match at the Sportsground at the week-end between the Ivowhai Ladies’ Cricket Club (Palmerston North) and the Napier Ladies’ Cricket Club. The Palmerston North Club lias been in existence for about four years, although lack of teams to play with has caused a cessation in the activities. Practices have-been held by the Palmerston North team under the coaching of Mr F. Collis, a member of the City Cricket Club’s senior A team. The visitors are to arrive here on Saturday evening and the following are the teams: Kowha.i Club. —Misses Judy Christian (captain), Sheila Heath, Louis McKenzie, Marie Waldegrave, Denzil Kingsbeer, Aileen Gardner, lantlie Christian, Beatrice Hicken, Lorna Dalton, Josephine Christian, Peggy O’Neill and Betty Millar. Napier Club. —Miss C. Fernandos (captain), Mesdames S. O’Brien and F. McAra, Misses N. Nelson, T. Joseph, D. Christie, M. Kelly, M. Swailes, J. Windle, A. Huxtable, E. Cohen and T. Lister. The umpires will be Messrs F. Thompson (Napier) and N. Galliclian (Palmerston North).
