NEW TORPEDO-BOAT.
BRADFORD MAN’S ENTERPRISE. LONDON, Jan. 17. The world’s fastest torpedo-boat is being built in London behind closed doors from “hush-hush” plans prepared by Lawrence of Arabia before his death, in association with Mr Edward Spurr, of Bradford, engineer, aged 30, says the Daily Sketch. Mr Spurr said: “Our secret vessel will carry 150 to 200 men. It can manoeuvre with ease. We are also building a racing car from designs by Lawrence and I» and will challenge th© speed record.’ ’
