JEWISH DOMINION. WITHIN BRITISH EMPIRE. k COMMISSION URGED TO HASTEN. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received January 17. 10.30 a.m. LONDON, Jan. IG. Conferring with reference to the Palestine White Paper the Board of Deputies of British Jews, under the president of Professor Neville Lasky, has resolved to welcome the plan providing for an established Jewish Dominion within the British Commonwealth. They urge the Government to expedite the departure of the technical commission. The Daily Telegraph’s political correspondent on January 5 pointed out that Ihe phraseology of the White Paper, announcing the appointment of a technical commission in Palestine, was “efficiently wide to allow the Government to put an almost entirely new plan before the Mandates Commission of the League of Nations if the now Palestine Commission thought it advisable. The correspondent added that the Government was meet anxious to oxpoditc the inquiry, and the commissioners would doubtless be at work in Palestine before the end ot March.
