RECORD CONSIGNMENT.
SHEEP FROM WAIRARAPA. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, Jan. 17. A record consignment of four thousand sheep, which left the AVaira.rapa early on Sunday morning, arrived at Tirau at 6 o’clock this morning. The train comprised 57 trucks—the largest yet undertaken by the Railway Department. Only one animal died on the long journey.
