BOWLING.

FEILDING PLAY AT MARTON. Six rinks from the Feilding Bowling Club visited Marton on Saturday afternoon for a match against the Marton Club. The weather conditions were perfect. The visitors were accorded a welcome, and Mr A. Williamson, on behalf of the Feilding rinks, reciprocated the good wishes. The Harford Tikis match was an interesting game, and at one stage Feilding rink, skipped by Moore, wits well in the lead, but later Marton recovered somewhat and when the game concluded the scores were Feilding 26, Marton (Hawkins skip) 20. Details of the games, in which Feilding aggregated 125 points to Merton’s 96, are as follow, Feilding rinks being mentioned first: — Duncan, Tingey, Williamson, Moore (.skip), lor Harford Tikis, 26 v. Hawkins’s rink (skip) 20; Mills, Shorter, (skip) 15; Imrie, Barltrop, Fowler. Wenham (skip) 24 v.‘ Gapp (skip) 13; L. Rodgers, Watt Finlay, Ramsay (skip) 18 v. Banks (skip) 18; Burne, Robinson White, March (skip) 18 v. Moore (skip) 13; Sargisson, Downer, Rosonoski, Dummer (skip) 17 v. Rayner (skip) 17.
