INCIDENT AT WAIHI. Per Press Association. WAIHT, Jan. 15. All work in the Martha Gold Mining Company’s mine will resume at midnight to-morrow following the decision at a special meeting of the union this morning to consider the position of the bra comen and ehambermen who refused duty yesterday as a result of the company discontinuing the special bonus for truck haulage, which had boon in existence for twenty years, following the recent award of the Arbitration Court. The trouble was confined to the men manning the No. 2 shaft and in consequence it rendered idle about 200 underground workers.
