A. C. Steelman and D. C. Coombe, who have represented Now Zealand on several occasions in Davis' Gup tennis, will on Wednesday bo seen in Palmerston North in exhibition singles and doubles matches with local moil and women players. Tho Manawatu ladies to moot the visitors will bo Mrs McNair Thompson and Mrs R. P. Adams, of Levin. The former player, who has boon the women’s mixed doubles champion of New Zealand, and who Jins since represented Manawatu, has the reputation of never having lost a match m interassociation games. Mrs Adams was the New Zealand junior women’s champion on three occasions. She was the singles champion onco and tlie doubles champion twice, with different partners. Last year Mrs Adams was a Manawatu champion. Tho two men to appear in the doubles will bo chosen from R. Chisholm, D. Livingstone and W. Boddy. All aro well-known ranking players and have represented Manawatu on several occasions.
