Imperial Airways state that technical data of extreme value are being obtained from . the trans-Atlantic survey flights by the flying-boats Caledonia and Cambria. The present series of tests, in which no commercial loads are being cawied, will be followed by a second phase .in which mails will be airborne to and fro across the Atlantic. • After that will come the scheduling of two regular services in each direction weekly carrying passengers as well.
