Mr L. Hillier, of Wellington,' is on a visit to his parents, Mr and Mrs D. Hillier, Bulls. Mr Hillier. sear., is a little bettor this week, but his health is still causing anxietv. Air and Mrs C. Stephenson have gone 'to Napier for a short holiday. Mr Stephenson has sold his property at Okoia, and intends residing in Palmerston North. The Bulls Basketball Club’s wind-up dance attracted a good crowd to the Town Hall on Tuesday evening, and the function was a successful and enjoyable one, resulting in a Binall profit to the funds. Mr Claudo Button, who has been seriously ill in Wellington, is now reported to he improving. Mr Dan Hillier has returned home from Palmerston North Hospital, and his condition remains much the same. Mr J. Bromley is still in hospital, and his state of health is causing his relatives a great deal of anxiety. Mr Q. O. Wilson left on Wednesday for Rotorua for further treatment for leg trouble. The final Rugby match between Bulls and Marton Old Boys seniors, winners of the A and B sections of the Moye Cup contests, will be played at Bulls on Saturday next. Both teams .are training hard’ and a good game is anticipated. Bulls and Marton Old Boys may then plnv for the Handy Cup at Marton. Clarrie Culpan, the Wanganui and Rangitikei. scoring wing three-quarter will he missed in local Rugby circles. Mr Culpan, sonr., has extensive business interests in South Afriea, and his son will join him in his undertakings. On Tuesday evening Bulls and Feuding Miniature Rifle Clubs fired a semi-final in the Cliffe-Remington series of matches, Bulls being “19 up” on the first range, and running out comfortable winners by 18 points.
