THEATRE ON FIRE.
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 19. Fire destroyed the Majest’e Theatre at Ashburton this evening. The building was valued at about £lO 000 and was owned by Fuller-Haywnrd’s. The theatre was completely gutted, only the brick walls standing.
