PRIEST KILLED.
VIOLENCE AT BUCHAREST. Received August 20, 11.55 a.m. BUCHAREST, Aug. 19. A Protestant priest was beaten to death and. 50 persons injured in a street fight among the German inhabitants of Calnic during the election of a church warden. Nazi supporters attacked the moderates and a battalion of gendarmes was called out and arrested 22 persons.
