Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Aug. 19. Nine charges that told a story of a trail of valueless cheques from Auckland to Invercargill were admitted in the Magistrate’s Court by William Theodore Thomson, who was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence on tlio local enarges, tlio others being adjourned. . In all Thomson secured £93 in cash and goods, the persons and firms defrauded being at Dunedin, Auckland, Invercargill, Timaru, and Christchurch.
