COMPETITIONS FESTIVAL.

Palmerston North’s big event next week will be the competitions festival, to bo held at the Opera House from Monday to Saturday. With over twelve hundred entries to be staged, the judges and officials will face a very busy week, and the sessions will run almost continuously from 9 a.m. each day until late in the evenings. The entries include a very fino variety and quality of talent from various parts of the North Island, in addition to the numerous local competitors, and tho society assures patrons thaj, all programmes will provide delightful entertainment that will appeal to everyone.
