Queen Elizabeth has given her patronage to the society which lias undertaken the work of rest N ing the buildings of the Beguinage nt Bruges. One of the fixtiest gables of the convent is now being restored, and more elaborate plans are being prepared under the direction of the Bruges architect, M. Luc Vierin.
