MURDER CHARGE DROPPED. MELBOURNE, Aug. 17,

Tho Crown Law Department announces that the murder charge against Rupert Davies, aged 26, and William Cody, aged 24, as the result of the shooting of James Scriven, a Government messenger, on February 1, 1936, has been dropped. A nolle prosequi was entered and both, men discharged after four trials in which all the juries disagreed.
