NEGRO LYNCHED.
SUSPECTED OF MURDER. Received August 18, 10.5 a.m. COVINGTON (Tennessee), Aug. 17. The bullet-riddled body of a negro, Albert Gooden, was found hanging from a bridge after six masked and armed men had seized the prisoner from a sheriff following his indictment for the murder of a white man.
