SUPREME COURT

Per Press Association. HAMILTON, Aug. 17. The quarterly session of the Supreme Court opened at Hamilton to-day, Mr Justice Callan presiding. In a brief address the Judge congratulated the district on the light criminal list. __ True billy were returned against Kenneth Patrick Blair, chemist, Hamilton, who was charged supplying a noxious thing with intent to procure a certain result; and against Charles Edward Murphy, arraigned on four counts embracing allegations of forgery, theft, breaking and entering and theft and unlawful conversion of a car. SENTENCES AT NAPIER. Per Press Association. NAPIER, Aug. 17. The following prisoners were sentenced by Mr Justice Reed: Albert Arthur Aston and Malcolm McCallum McKenzie, charged jointly on two counts of breaking and entering with intent, also theft and attempted breaking and entering, two yeans’ Borstal treatment on each charge, concurrent. McKenzie was also charged with the unlawful conversion of a car and theft.
