A RECIPE.

SAVOURY RABBIT. One young rabbit, one cup water, 1 gill vinegar, 1 onion, 1 dessertspoon each red currant jelly and made mustard, 1 teaspoon butter and some gravy. Put the onion inside the rabbit, and press it into shape. Put it into a baking tin and cover it with the mixture made by mixing the butter, mustard and jelly together. Pour the water and vinegar into the dish, cover with another dish, then bake 1 hour, basting frequently. Serve with brown grarvy.
