MELBOURNE CASES TOTAL 101. * MELBOURNE, Aug. 16. Twenty-eight cases of infantile paralysis have been reported since Thursday and bring the total to 101. No more deaths have occurred. A feature of the developments in the epidemic was the discovery at the week-end of a colony of contacts at Mount Macedon, a fashionable holiday resort forty miles from the city. Three cases occurred at the school there and it has now been closed. \ Strict precautions are being taken at Mount Macedon, where the roads are now patrolled by council employees. Motorists are questioned and advised to return to the city. Ihe known contacts have been strictly isolated.
