(From Our Own Correspondent.) SANSON. Aug. 16._ Last week a team from the Santlon Miniature Rifle Club met a team from Bulls at Sanson in a match for the MclCelvie Cup. Sandon proved the winners, .the final 6cores being: Bulls, 543 —528 —1071; Sandon, 533 —540—1073. Mr Broughton (president of tho Bulls Club), in presenting tho cup to tho president of the Sandon Club (Mr E. Green), congratulated the club upon its good shooting. He also said that the Bulls Club had won 20 challenges, the match with Sandon being the 21st, hut they would be back to challenge Sandon In about two weeks’ time. Detailed scores: —Bulls, W. The tremendous amount of traffic through Sanson over the week-end was a good indication of the interest taken in the Spring-bok-All Black trial. . Traffic commenced on 'Thursday evening, and on Friday night there was a continuous stream of motor vehicles. Many local residents consider that previous traffic records were easily, broken for the twenty-four hours commencing on Friday at noon.
