(From Our Own Correspondent.) KONGOTEA, Aug. 16.
The members of the Presbyterian Bible classes of Palmerston North Outfields gathered on Friday ovoning at Kongotca Church to wclcomo Sister Anna Kirkwood, travelling secretary of the Presbyterian Young Women’s Jliblo Class Union. Afiss Kirkwood addressed members on the responsibilities of Bible class membership, stressing the supremo importance of loyalty to Jesus Christ.-Her address was made the more interesting by accounts which she gave of some of the characters whom she had met during her travels. Tlio conviction with which she spoke, and the charm of her Christian personality left a decided impression on her hearers. The Kongotca Presbyterian Church was substantially filled on Sunday evening, when Alias Fawcett, travelling representative of the British and Foreign Bible Society, gave an address on the work of the society. Afiss Fawcett outlined the task undertaken in the work of translation and distribution.
