ITALIAN HELP ALLEGED. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received August 17, 12.45 p.nt. LONDON, Aug. 16. The Daily Herald declares that General Franco, aided by Italy, is waging an unrestricted submarine warfare in the Mediterranean against merchantmen of all nations. It says that lie had only one serviceable submarine early in August, from which it can be deduced that Italian ships and naval bases are helping him inasmuch as nine vessels have been attacked in the past fortnight. TRAMP SHIP SUNK. Received August 17, 1.20 p.m. LONDON, Aug.. 17. The Spanish tramp ship Marinegro lias been torpedoed and is reported to have been sunk with all hands. REBEL VICTORY. CAPTURE OF REINOSA. Received August 17. 12.45 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 16. The Daily Telegraph’s Aguilar de Campo correspondent states that the rebels have captured Reinosn. This success is of great strategical importance, effecting the convergence of the rebels’ two flanks and the imprisonment of great numbers of small villages/hamlets and farms in which Government troops are stationed. A Madrid message states that all those in Madrid who are not engaged in war industries or in work of public importance will he obliged to leave the capital, according to the Ministry of Labour.
