SKATE HOCKEY.
Manawatu heat AVellington by 6 goals to 3 in a contest for the Empire’ Skate Hockey Shield which was held at Palmerston North on Saturday evening. The game was a fast, open one and not lacking in thrills. Pink (3) and Hoare (3) secured the Alanawatu goals, while Martin (3) scored for the visitors.
